Hello Awesome Readers! How’s your weekend, everyone? I’m going to say that mine is a very well spent because I get to share some quality time with my family. We went to Pansol, Laguna over the weekend to celebrate my Nephew (and his cousins) birthday. I, on the other hand have so many things to celebrate and be grateful of, like how my thesis was complimented by my professor.. He can be very intimidating at some point but after hearing great words from him about my paper, it instantly boost my motivation to work even harder, making all the sleepless nights all worthy. So, here I am wearing a Lace combination of Romper Shorts from our online shop, The Duchess Collection. I got them last year but this is probably the second or third time I wore it.. My fave blue aviator sunnies from Ray-Ban. Also, my jelly flip flops from CLN (Celine).
Hello Awesome Readers!
Finally! Midterm exams are over *throws confetti* I’ve been very busy over the last few weeks because I have tons of school works to do (okay enough ranting) haha!
Yesterday, I am able to go out and shop so I went to Eastwood City and I am so happy to see the dancing water fountain once again plus they have these uber-cute Pink blossoms replica and Fortune Tree display (since Chinese New Year is fast approaching, I guess)
Starting this 2015, I always write a “note to self” on my journal starting the first day for every month to remind myself of things I need to focus on for a better and happier me! “Read more books, Smile more sincerely, give more hugs, share more love, spread more optimism”
I recently got my new eyeglasses from Bvlgari, I am wearing a white crop top from The Duchess Collection, Shorts and Mustache Necklace both from Forever 21,Belt from Penshoppe and my Black slip-on sneakers from Airwark. Honestly, I feel a bit edgy and also hispter-ish with this look because I am more into skirt-dress-flats kind of girl. I am trying new to explore more when it comes to fashion because I usually wear something depending on my mood.
Last Saturday, after school my friend asked me to go with her to have her eyebrows done but when we are already at the mall and we passed by the movies and we impulsively decided to watch ‘Love, Rosie’ instead, starring Lily Collins and Sam Claflin. I am a huge fan of them so I can’t resist it even when my original plan is to shoot for my blog afterwards (oops, sorry!) The movie is based on the novel written by Cecilia Ahern titled “Where Rainbows End”.
I’m not going to post a movie review because I want you to watch it yourself. It made me laugh (A LOT), cry my eyeballs out and laugh out loud again, and there is just so much humor in it. I admit that the parts made me cry are the ones that I can really relate the most. I know most of us have difficulties we experience in our life, right? And yet we wake up every morning, get ready to what we have to do and fight the battle we have inside. We smile to the world, continue our lives and make it productive!
I am happy to where I am right now even though the last quarter of 2014 is pretty rough for me, honestly during the holidays I gained enough realizations to what had happened to me and I started 2015 with a clean slate and a positive outlook in life. It taught me patience in life, to focus more in my goals and to love oneself that never allow someone to take away your shine!
I highly recommend you see the movie ‘Love, Rosie’ for a good dose of laugh and tears.
Also, I am going to take this chance to inform you guys that I will usually have a new blog post every Thursday and/or Saturday since that is the time I don’t have much school works to do!
Thank you so much for reading, xoxo!
